Trailing a Blanket

Adria started something new this weekend. She now trails a blanket around by its corner, in total Linus stereotypical fashion. It is so cliché that it made both Amanda and I stare. At home, her blankets usually end up in her crib, and she can’t easily get at them from the outside. But in our hotel room this weekend, the blankets were lying around, and she started doing this:

Looks like the age of the ‘blanky’ are upon us.

Like father, like daughter. Your blanket was little more than a rag when I took it apart to try and find pieces big enough for Adria's blanket.

Oh my gosh, I thought we had avoided the whole blankie deal with Scott, and he became obsessed with one of his at about 1 year. (Or maybe he always was, but then he could communitcate it...)
He won't go to bed or nap without it, and when I wash it, he cries. It's pretty filthy!
